Basics

The Story Settings consists of a set of easy and quick-to-use areas to help you create, map, plan, and organize your story settings better after you write them or when you originally create them.

The story settings view makes the best of your writing and thought time, to create better story settings, stories, and even more writing time.

It also includes the ability to create, edit, and even reorder/move your story settings and their story setting attributes.

* In a future version you'll even be able to filter your story settings based on story and user created tags, filters, story setting/story tags etc... And you'll be able to label and group your story settings attributes.

The story settings view flexibly helps you do it your way, no matter what writing or story setting process you use. It keeps the fun in story settings, writing, but removes the work, makes the work fun.

Get Started

The Storyfyre Story Settings work area is divided into a Top Menu, and under that an Area Toolbar, a Work Area, a soon to be added Filter Area(next version), and depending upon your writing device screen size a left hand Hover Action Menu.

(On smaller screen devices the left hand Hover Action Menu is hidden under a three-line hamburger menu on the top menu.)

The Top Menu is the same for all areas of the software.

On the Story Settings Top Menu we have added an Add Story Setting quick action icon button .

Or you can use the 3 dot ellipsis Create/Customize menu icon button located on the Top Menu to quickly Add Story Settings to the Story Settings View and to access all the Create/Customize menu features.

Use the Quick Tips for the Story Settings View found under the help menu icon button on the Story Settings View toolbar for a fast start.

Limits

We know of some limits within Storyfyre, in each area we will try and list the ones we know of at the bottom, and ones which we intend to address with our future updates.
