Overview

Use a quick vertical Scene Outline format. Create/map/plan/outline your scenes, story, chapters in a vertical outline format in the Scene Outline after you've written it or before, to find the right story to tell.

Basics

The Scene Outline View works much like the Scene Map except in a quick featured outline style format.

The outline area system consists of a set of easy and quick-to-use areas to help you plan, outline, and organize your stories better after you write them or before.

It includes the ability to create, edit, reorder your story bible, story map, scene map, scene outline. To create and filter out/view story arcs, character arcs and later on series arcs etc... Along with user created tags, filters, story tags etc...(filters in future version)

The Scene Outline View flexibly helps you create your story your way, no matter what writing process you use to create it. Drill down and focus or you decide how much you want to do, and keep it as light as you want it.

Get Started

The Storyfyre Scene Outline work area is divided into a Top Menu, and under that an Area Toolbar, a Work Area, a soon to be added a Filter Area(next version) and depending upon your writing device screen size a left hand Hover Action Menu.

(On smaller screen devices the left hand Hover Action Menu is hidden under a three-line hamburger menu on the top menu.)

The Top Menu is the same for all areas of the software.

In the Scene Outline use the ellipsis button outline menus in the Outline Work Area to quickly create/customize, add/edit chapters, add/edit scenes/text/beats to the Scene Outline for both chapters and scenes/text/beats areas.

To move/drag... Click-hold/touch-hold(mobile) bullets and drag for chapters and scenes/text/beats to easily reorder and move.
